I am not going to Re-Hash 2007, it has been battered enough these past 4 months. Seminoles, you made a great move. Take advantage of having those two with you in a good way and they will lead you back to the top.
Like Field of Dreams, if you play it they will come. You will in the months to come get some great players wanting to play for those 2 guys. Hoss is a great guy that always had our sidelines in order and oozed passion for the game and it rubbed off on our team. We had an owner that could not handle real football people.
Ted and Hoss are great additions to any team and now a great team that is rich in tradition has them both. Good luck in 2008 and you will be a very difficult team to play and I believe you guys will be playing in Florida at this time next year. You have an owner that understands football and is a good guy and have always enjoyed my battles with his teams. The Force going to a lower league and our best players jumping ship and going to Detroit well that tells you everything you need to know.
Our best players knew who were the football minds on our team were and that is why they are making that journey to Detroit, they know were they can get another ring and play for a great owner and our 2 best coaches. Force keep Reeves and Hooker and Meade and Frank lets Ted and Hoss walk. I guarantee you those 3 and Frank gave any speeches on football at your meeting yesterday you would have left in 3 minutes after they opened up their Pie Hole. Sorry I am not going to be able to road trip and practice and play in 2008 but I will catch a game. I thought I would be able to go to the Game this fall between the Force and Seminoles here in Grand Rapids, does not look like that is going to happen. Be interesting to see who QB's the Force this year.
Tester and Ernest and DP and Ronnie and Eddie and I heard from Clayton that Big Ben Flowers wants to go play in Detroit. You just got 6 of our best players and the heart of our D. You pick up Big Don and a couple of other Lions you just became a very scary team to play. To the Force players that stay the very best to you and were all great team-mates. Frank and Meade and Hooker and Reeves and a diminished Force team or a great Seminole team with 2 very good guys and Football guys and a great team. That math is easy. Good luck to all but if you have mad skillz and want a chance to play for a great team call Batman and your dreams will come true. I knew those 2 would get your respect and how likable they both are. I have played a long time and I have never seen a team gravitate to a coach like Hoss and he will galvanize your team and attitude and Ted will run a good ship and Frank will never man up on how bad he Fu--ed up and hurt a potential dynasty. For those who stay come practice see how much of a talent drop off and your coaching level will be compared to last year for 11 games.
Getting 6 of our best players and those great Lion players says everything you need to know about Batman, Ted and Hoss. The Seminoles will be by far the best team in the Midwest and a favorite to win a National Title. I hear Ted is calling all the top teams in the Midwest to play in pre-season. Lima and other USFA teams and Racine and Kane County who won the National NAFL title, this is your chance to play with no excuses in pre season and test your team against those mighty Seminoles. Don't come on this board and thump your chest, schedule the Seminoles and then you can say you were not afraid to test your team and I am sure Ted and Batman will travel if they have to to make that game happen. I will road trip to any of those games just to see a game like that happen. You can come on this board and tell everyone you will not back down and you are getting no respect. Call Batman and Ted and schedule the pre season game with the the Seminoles and then we can take you serious. I know with the Force we played the Diesels and Thunder and Racine and the WCW and we dominated all 4 of those games and on paper the Seminoles of 2008 are a whole lot stronger then we were going into the season.
You already had a great team and now you get Tester and Ernest and DP and Ronnie and Big Ben and Eddie and Clayton and Lott and the Cleveland guys. You will be the New England Patriots of Sem Pro Football in 2008.

Get use to this seminoles. You heard it hear first. Ted is known for F-ing up stuff like this. Get use to adjusting to 2hit on the fly cuz he cant keep anything as planned. Just lettin you know in advance. Be ready to adjust. It is obvious to me that you speak from a position of a ignorance and you don' t read the post before you. I did not schedule this game nor did I want this game scheduled. So, I corrected it. You sir have never been in the position of leadership or ran anything of significant value in your life. If changing a game 6 months before it happens is in your opinion "adjusting on the fly" - then you have some real issues. Semi-pro is all about adjusting, adaptation, and accepting new ideas or philosophies......the Seminoles know this now and we will see how "bad" this will be for them. Thanks again for the comments from the peanut gallery.

The meeting yesterday was great. I was ready to play right there in the hotel. The coaches were great, the staff is top of th eline from the top to the bottom. The coach we brought from Cleveland is awesome too. To my fellow Seminole Offensive Linemen know this.. You will LOVE playing for Pat Weigel!!! He will have us all in lock step, in shape with sound technique and scheme.
Ted is a great leader and I respect him... Hoss is my kind of guy, he and I will get along great. I love his passion for the game. I have known and played against many of the Seminoles for years and respect everyone on that team, I know what they can do.
The thing that spoke volumes for me was the Seminole vets like Larry, Pierre, Rob, and others who welcomed the new Lions and Force players with open arms. To a man the sem players made us feel welcome, not even a hint of hate. I am so fired up for this season I am ready to go. I am coiming to camp in great shape ready to compete for a job. If I don't get one, fine I will sit but it will be because the other guys was better, not because I didn't go all out. Besides I would rather sit for a champion than start for anything less.
Lets go get this ring fellas!!!! The pieces are in place the rest is up to us.

It's unfortunate that the game got canceled. We hope to schedule something with them in the future. Good luck to Coach S and the rest of the Seminole organization for 2008.

Seminole Nation:
I was extremely impressed by the level of organization and committment to excellence expressed by the Seminole heirarcy at yesterday's meeting. Do not overlook the improtance of Ms. "Pardon my French" Harris on providing leadership with the finances. I greatly appreciate the warm reception for the Cleveland Connection from everyone in Detrioit. Seems like Batman has formed a merger of the best of THREE worlds in the 08 Seminoles. I'm looking forward to working with the entire coaching staff. The combination of knowledge of and passion for football throughout the entire coaching staff is rarely seen in the Semi-Pro world. I'm equally excited to have the opportunity to work with 50 players who are equally committed as the coaches to DO IT RIGHT. I was so excited after the meeting; that I practiced the "Chop" on the way back to C-town.
I am honored to be the offensive coordinator of the 08 Seminoles. As far as my background, I wasn't aware that an audio-visual presentation would be the norm. I truely believe that great coaches are great teachers. I teach Advance Placement evnironemtal science at Chagrin Falls High School, the #1 ranked public high school in Ohio. In 2007 I was named a Who's Who Among American Science Teachers. I feel very fortuante that my passion for learning and teaching has provided me a very successful career within the classroom. Soon you see that this same passion for teaching and learning on the football field. I can not wait until our first team practice on May 1st. Rest assured I will be working hard from now until then on learning the Detriot offense and collaborating with Ted, Rob, and Eric.
Work Hard - Have Fun - Win a National Championship; you'll find out I'm not very complicated to figure out. Look forward to working with all Seminoles in 08 and creating some special memories that will last a lifetime.

Thanks, coach Weigel,
We are equally glad to have you aboard and cannot stress how much having committed people to a franchise is greatly appreciated.
You are absolutely correct coach Weigel in your assessment of Ms. Harris.
The one element many teams forget about and fail is when reorganizing the football product on the field is, equally the financial product must be sound and have the same emphasis -if not more. I pursued Ms. Harris (the new Noles CFO) with the same vigor as I sought Ted & Hoss.
Ms. "Pardon My French" Harris (new noles joke) has a masters in Accounting & Finance and was a huge key instrumental figure in the construction financing of Detroit Ford Field. She works for City of Detroit (not to hold Kwamee against her....LOL) has her own company and had a passion for sports and it was just a godsend and natural fit for the team.

Mr. S, my previous post was intended to question if this is what is to be expected by this orginization by violating established team bylaws. By using "English =" you insult my intelligence by trying to make it seem that I did not understand what was being stated by you. Please, do not insult me like that. I was merely bringing up an issue that I think can only be a problem for the Seminoles orginization. I, for the record, am a player for the T-wolves and only bring about the subject out of concern for the welfare of a fellow league team. I would like to not endure a debacle of the Grand Rapids team nor would like to see a fate befall onto one of our flagship programs.
It concerns me, that with all the changes of incoming personnel and management and players, that by announcing a game early then cancelling shows that the right hand knows not what the left is doing. Changes that are occuring make me wonder the state of affairs in the Seminole nation by wondering who really is in charge over there? I have the utmost respect for Batman and the Sems, but wonder who is actually at the helm of making the decisions over there?
First, the Seminoles move from being an amateur to pro program by paying athletes to play for their program (gas cards or anything such is still considered payment). Then I hear that their has been a violation in scheduling a game by not adhering to established bylaws. What more are we to expect from this orginization that could be considered rules violations? If you violate your own TEAMS rules, what is to stop such entity from violating any such LEAGUE rules?
English = are we to expect the 08 Seminoles to become the Force soap opera part 2?

Sorry, but harris66 if you really do play for the T-WOLVES then you should know darn well that the Seminoles would not bring in somebody who would cause a 'SOAP OPERA' Second of all the game isn't going to happen because the OWNER/MGT/COACHES did NOT schedule the game!!!!!!!! The person who scheduled the game didn't CONSULT THE POWERS THAT BE so 'NO GAME' what don't you understand? You and the rest of the Michigan teams need not worry about the Noles! You should be concerned about your team and what your doing to prepare for the upcoming season and try to win some games this upcoming season! It's amazing how many of you come on here like 'LAB RATS' attacking a person's character or even worse his family! What a bunch of 'COWARDS'!!!!!! MELL Noles #57

Mel, yes I do play for the wolves and I played with you on the twisters so cool down. I didnt attack anyones character so dont group me with them. As far as Clark and the org telling me what to do... aint gonna happen. This has nothing to do with the team. I listen and respect what they say when it comes to team business. And I hope your not calling me a coward either, I havent had anyting bad I have ever said to you Mel. Thank you Batman, for bringing a decent response to this. I say my name, number AND the team I play for so dont ever think for one minute that I take such a "cowardly" approach.

What one person says, the other echos with absolute resolution! I can promise this along with Batman, their will absolutely be NO dissension within the Seminole organization - either on the Executive Team level or the football team level. We will, together, cut away any cancer that threatens the dream we both share. Harris66, it was not my intention to insult your intelligence, and for that I apologize. Nor was my post intended to insult any other individual's intelligence. I was just trying to explain the issue in fewer words. Unfortunately, it was the wrong approach and it will not happen again. Thanks for pointing out my error. Good luck to you in you upcoming season.

harris66, my post wasn't a hit directed soley at you! What I was saying to you is not to worry about the Noles! No, you haven't nor ever have directly attacked me! I hope you didn't think I was directly attacking you or saying you have no character. They have certain people in their sites this month and next month it'll be someone on mabye your team? Thanks, Mr. S (cant call ya coach, since Clark is mine). I guess I took it bit harsh. I am just hoping for the best from all teams in the MCFL this year. Your team is one of the (if not THE) flagship for our league and hope that the team has great success this year. I am concerned with ALL our teams, from the Sems to the Fury to the Mustangs because I feel if their is a problem with one of our teams, it is a problem for our league.
And Mel, I know I just get a little testy sometimes. I know it gets hard with all the anonymous posters out there always trying to stir up trouble. You guys are the ones to beat still so everyone is trying to bring yall down. If you guys stay that elite that makes victory over you guys that much more sweet. No disrespect to Blev and the Ravens, but what still makes the Seminoles the top dog on the block is longevity. If the Ravens keep playing like they do, they will rip that spot from you.
I, personally cant wait to take you guys on. The truest measure of a man is the competition he faces. It will be rough this year on all of us so I hope everyone is (as Banks likes to say) gettin their mind right. I know how you feel about us offensive players, Mell lol
Good luck to you guys this season.
