I am not telling anyone what to do, but I come on here to get info on teams. As a new team I would not schedule the Noles or the Force, not because we would lose. But because after watching this board over the last 2 month's the players seem to me to be guys that are not in it for the love of the game. This board has not been about the one thing that most of us do this for , but for players and obviously some owners to feed their egos. I have never seen so much crap in my life. I have been coaching for 12 years from the High school level to the Pro level and I have never seen so much crying and b()tching. If I was the Noles or Force owner or GM i would be ashamed of my staff and players after reading this board. I know for sure they would not be playing or working for me. Guys seasons are about to start the Noles are a very good team we get that and the Force has its problems. But start looking to the future and not the past. I know that there will be one of you telling me to mind my own business, but that is fine because in the end you are the ones that make your teams and leagues look like a joke. Good luck to the Noles with all of your new additions to your organizations and good luck to the Force on rebuilding in the new league.

I respect my team-mates. Batman and Rob Hunt are first class.
We have some great guys on our team along with new and improved players. Batman and Coach Ted have posted their names in good faith only to have some idiot slam Coach Ted's family. The new coach, Coach Hoss said at our meeting Sunday message boards of any kind are a joke if you do not post your name. he said do not get caught up in the chicken s-it garbage and just focus on 2008.

I see some of these post like laffinelli and the idiot who slammed Batman are probably the same idiot coach from the Force who had issues and quit on his team.

We will take care of our own house and we are all looking towards May 1st.

Mr or probably Miss Lafenilli what have you done in the football world to make your team better or helped anyone get better.

If you are going to slam people then be credible and put your name out their and maybe just one and I mean just one person might take you serious. And for the dimwit that slammed Batman, you have no street cred or or ballz to put your name out their. Coach Pilgrim, I have been playing for over 10 years and this years Seminole team both in coaching and players is the best I have seen ever in minor league football.

I know we still have to play but if you want to schedule a pre-season call Batman and he will set that game up.------Peace

Thanks MOTOWN or MOTOR CITY....no need to defend ole BATS against complete ignorance....especially from guys that couldn't give a s.h.i.t about the welfare or survival of the great Noles Nation. Trust me, this is nothing more then SOUR GRAPES, FEAR, and PROPAGANDA. This is what MICE and ROACHES do when confronted with EXTERMINATION.....they scurry. I'm a great fan of WARFARE STRATEGY and this is the greatest weapon of cowards and people that feel INFERIOR .

If I listen to the advice of a few old select Seminoles with axe to grind (yeah you old Bucs too...and, yes I do know who you are) and actually waited on them to do something to HELP the team.....the Noles would be doing exactly what the Cleveland Lions are doing this year - sitting it out - if not worse - being FINISHED completely. I guess now reality has set in now. Too many good things they hearing. OH, now you want to TALK??? Now these bums chiming in on ole BATS? Where were you a few months ago? Where were you the entire off season? NO one called me after the season....NOT ONE call!!!! "Hey Bat's this what we need to do for next year....etc". I do what I do in the best interest of TEAM. I will never answer to BUMS that don't respect the team concept. Those select leeches....question about dues yet turn a blind eye when the Noles have to pay for something like stadiums, officials, buses...or ante up for something vital for the team. What's rather funny and amazing is they put more effort and passion on this board trying to demean our effort then they did soliciting sponsorship or helping the team.

So to them I say......you can SLAM, SLANDER, call me NAMES till the cows come home BRO.....but know this.....you're now a GHOST and in the REAR VIEW mirrors....you're now a FAN brotha......have a nice life. Its going to be hilarious watching you weasel and squirm in SOUR GRAPES and HATE. I would go find players in ALASKA that had a better commitment then YOU. Once again, if it was up to you....the Noles would be DEAD.

As you you Doug Palmer...let me set the record straight. It was no fault of you Doug of the scheduling mishap of the Noles vs Oakland team, so you're need to be condescending is really unnecessary especially given our history. As Doug pointed out, a lot of the contingency and agreement of the Noles/Oakland game was done prior to the hiring of TED....so the official authorization was given by me EARLY with the blessing of Doug to have the authority to get preseason games. When Ted took over, we all agreed we had another plan in mind, so the game was hinceforth cancelled.....PERIOD. So to set the record straight, at the time - DOUG, did have the authority to set the game. The notice is what really came late and was more MY FAULT. Nothing more...nothing less. Doug, I give Ted the same respect for game setup and authority the same honor and respect I gave you when you had the job. It would have been the exact same scenario if Moose setup up a game prior to your hiring.

Whether it works to me is really not the greater question? The greator question is....what would happen if you continued following the same path and policy - DOING NOTHING?

I wonder what would be your question if the Noles folded after the Ravens championship because Bats was tired of the same ole BS.
What you don't realize was....it was just that close. You would have had a total different message if it wasn't for myself and a whole lot of people behind the scenes. REAL Seminoles people, old and new who actually give a darn about putting a great product ON and OFF the field. If not for these very people you want to slander - me, rob, ted, old noles, new lions and force......who exactly do you think would have picked up the football and kept the Noles flame alive.......YOU? Some other good ole Noles/Bucs player? Are you serious?

I'm more a realist and think more logical about semi-pro football. Ninety-five percent of the semi-pro teams in America are kept alive by 1 -5% of people in the organization, whether that be players, coaches, etc that honestly CARE and sacrifice, time, money, and effort for YOU to get the GLORY. You know what the other 95% do.....NOTHING? They sit back and b.i.tch and moan, whining about DUES, crying about coaches, with the all-too familiar theme of - What the team can do for THEM. They really don't give a s.h.i.t about anybody or anything EXCEPT themselves and how changes EFFECT THEM.

So, to answer your question....it already has worked. Success starts far before you play football in the fall....and to me...whether we went 0-10 this year which I know won't happen. The reality is, the Detroit Seminoles are ALIVE and BREATHING, still playing football again with REAL FIRE. My success is, not hearing people saying the Noles is washed up.....DEAD, OLD, and about to FLAME OUT. The future is brighter then ever because I found REAL Seminoles...old and new...who do give a darn. YES, it was worth it. It was definitely worth the EFFORT and RISK - rather then face the OTHER OPTION of the Detroit Seminoles Football Team DYNASTY & LEGACY that I DO LOVE...being degraded by people no longer giving a darn because they got there RINGS and GLORY.
