I ran into that great player from Grand Valley on defense at Meijer and he said he was along with the guy that wore number 9 and 2 defensive lineman and Eric Clayton and the free safety who is from Muskegon or Spring Lake and 2 other LB's and the big Defensive end. He said their names but you would have to ask him. I know you do not have the quarterbacks or Mr. Sherrod's son who was outstanding.
I am sure you will get new players and we hope to see a good product this year. Are the games at Jension again.

Homer you were a great guy and I hope things work out for you and my former team-mates that stay. I think that guy was talking about DP. I know for a fact that he and his short LB friend James, Tester, McRae, Nota, Clayton and Eric emailed me and said Monte is also playing along with TJ and probably Ernest and Reggie. I hear that Big Drew is going if someone calls him so that makes 8- 10. No Tokar or Phil and I hear Ryan might not be playing either. It will be basically a new team for the Force.
I know Dolan and Miller and maybe Danny you have and Lance is a big question. For the record I have a ring because of you guys so I will be grateful to Frank for that and I hope 08 is a good year for all of you.

Force fan, I am sorry to tell you that the Great player from Grand Valley will most likely be playing with the Force this year. # 9 lives in Traverse City and started a new buisness this year, that #13 is also a part of. If you think he is traveling to Detroit 3 times a week for volunteer football, you figure the mile and time. The big defensive end was not going to be asked back to the Force, he plays on his own terms. He comes when he wants, and complains more than most. I cant for the life of me, figure out which two outstanding d/line that would be going, that cant be replaced. With #76 and #79 leading the d/line along with a couple of recruits where are we losing out?Lets see about those line backers! 1 is my brother-inlaw he's playing for us, 1 is the new defense coach, #55 is still with us. What # am I missing? I have 3 players listed from muskegon, one is playing, one is not being invited back and the other has moved up north somewhere. Let me assure you, we did not sit on our hands over the winter. We as an organization, met every week to make sure what happened in '07 does not repeat itself in '08. With the season just around the corner, we plan on having a great team again! If you still think you have questions, just call me!!

retired force, again, i (me) talked with reggie this week, he could not come to our combine because he has drills this weekend(guards) and is going on vacation next week, but will be conditioning with us as soon as he gets back. I also talked with james scott and he had not commited or at least thats what he said. Again, Todd tester lives in Traverse city and clayton in ST.JOE are these guys driving 6-8hrs 3 times a week to play volunteer football.Drew has already signed his paperwork with us last week at our combine, as well as ryan bowling. Do you think that the other core players for the detroit team have just stepped aside for the so called players that left G.R. I dont understand that thought process, or are you saying those guys are way better than what the detroit team had?? With that being said, it looks like maybe 2-3 players going to detroit. WE will survive
For the record, i did talk to #98,42,50,6 all great players, unfortunately all doing different things in '08 I wish them all the best.

Actually I Live in Benton Harbor and yes I'm driving 2.5 hrs to Detroit to play for the Seminoles. There are several other guys that I played with last year that are coming. I know this as I see them in Detroit and hear them on the phone every week. So someone might not want to be playing both sides. Plus I got a couple phone calls this week from guys from last year wanting to know what's going on and how I think things will go down. My advice to everyone is go where you are comfortable and happy. i wish everyone good luck for next year. Oh and signing "paper work" only means you can't play with another team within the same league, generally.

Enjoy your 3 hour's of driving... even though, you'll probably only go to a hand full of practices all season anyway... So games will just be like away games for you all the time. As for your comment on "signing paper"... in your eyes you may think that it just means you can't play for another team in "your league"... But, in the team you play for; that piece of paper can mean any team, in any leauge. You don't make the rules, the team does. none the less... Enjoy Detroit and your travels!

I don't mind the drive, plus I've set up car pooling with several other guys along the way. As far as practice, I make practices when I can because of school so I'll make all the important ones. Why would ya think I'd only go to a few practices? If ya knew me ya knew I always go to practice. The only time I didn't go to practice last year was when I hurt my knee and I always called and notified Ted. As far as signing papers I really don't care. Never said I make the rules, I seem to get along just fine. But thanks for the caring. Hopefully you guys get things going, I would say see ya on the field but that isn't possible now. So have a good one.

Homer,
Alot of us liked you but I spoke to DP and this is what the former All American at Grand Valley said to me. He would have rathered played for Ferris State then play for the coaches you have for the Force. I am not going to rehash old garbage. He said James is also playing in Detroit unless he plays for Grand Valley.
Ronnie McCrae will never ever play for the Force ever. His loyalities are with the 2 coaches in Detroit. I spoke to Phil and he made it very clear to me. Tester had lunch with Ted and Hoss about a month ago and he is totally committed to playing in Detroit. I am not going to share what Matt and Phil and Tester think of what happen last year or the coaches that are their. I hear the Seminoles have great investors and players from Cleveland and the guys in Michigan that are driving more then 2 hours are getting gas money. Nota and Monte and Ernest who will never play for Frank again and has committed to play in Detroit if his schedule will allow it.
I loved playing with your cousin Sean who is a good guy and so is Chuck. No speed though so they will do well in the USFA.
Homer your the personal director,
Tremendous step down from the guys that left for Detroit. It is like comparing a Yugo to a Corvette. But you are Frank's friend and Frank will only get guys that buy into my way only approach. So good luck and I mean that but the best players are going to Detroit were they have a great chance to be National Champions and play for guys that know football not factory workers.

retired force,
you maybe right, that personnel director is a step down from those great players. But one more step down would be a person that blogs on here and dosent post there name. Its like a yugo to a roller skate.

I was in a gas station in Allendale taking a pee, when #4 walked in, he told me he was going to play for a team in Chicago, I couldn't believe my eyes when # 9, #21, #13#8 all came out of the pooper stalls, they said they were all going to play for the sems because they had better bathrooms there. I almost most fell on the floor when #77,#10,#76#79#20,#55#41#18#87 walked in to poop, I just said hey where are all you guys playing this year, they said not with the Force because Frank's bathrooms at SkRA'S practice Field were not as good as these.well after we all talked about how bad the Force staff was, we laughed and shook hands and I left, thinking "man" I forgot to wash my hands!!!!!!!!!!!!
"who gives a F where any of the Force players play"
