Silverbacks Defense

With all due modesty and respect to others the best defense around these parts wasn't in the MCFL, wasn't even in Michigan, it was in London, Ontario and is part of the Silverbacks. A defense that could virtually win games by itself, by locking opponents down and scoring as much or more than other teams offenses.
Despite a slow start by the offense and a game or two where the special teams completely was off track giving up too many points the team still only gave up 95 pts in 9 regular season games (avg. 9.5/game) and only 3 tds in the playoffs (1td/game). The 'Backs had a great combination of athletic big men up front combined with speed behind them. Add to that they all love to hit and swarm to the ball every play I have to say that was the best D in '07.. and looks to be improving for '08.
P.S Take out the one game where the special teams directly lead to 4 scores (2 return tds and 2 returned within the 10) including a rough outing by the O and the Silverbacks only gave up 6.5 pts/game.

I think a game between the Ravens and the Silverbacks would be a good matchup. I am sick of all the Ravens talking all the crap about how sweet they would like to be. How about play a team with a REAL D and see how sweet you are then.

f the queen? You know the Silverbacks are in Canada not England right? Don't let the city name fool you, its clear just how simple you are..
Dude, wake up! You need a clue with the garbage you're spewing. Stats don't lie and games are played vs. the opponents scheduled and the results attained. Quite simply London played the teams on their schedule including their game in Vegas where they got the job done. You are certainly entitled to your opinion of that schedule but that opinion probably means very little to most. The Silverbacks D probably responsible for as many points as your offense.
Now, it is a new year and I'm sure most all teams will be different so who was best back when doesn't mean a thing but can easily be settled on the field this year. Mr. Anonymous f the queen get your team to play the Silverbacks if you think they are a joke and pray you aren't one of the ones out there on the offense. They may not be a loud team full of bravado but they definitely make some noise on the field.. where it belongs.

First props to my fellas known as the Ravens but the Force put a can of Whup assin on you all and we now have that defensive coach along with 6 of his best defensive players. Noles will be very tough this year on both sides of the ball. Should be some trash talking fools this year from all teams. Yeah and the cowboys beat the giants in the regular season. Not a good point about the Cowboys and Giants. That is the NFL where the teams are pretty much close to equal. That being said. The Giants had a .330 record against the Cowboys in 08. I do believe that the Ravens had a .000 record against the Force last season. Like I said before. Force were better than the Ravens, Ravens were better than the Sems and the Sems were better than the Force. It's all about matchups bro.

ok so if we didnt then who did? we put 28 and 36 on the noles respectively last year, noles blasted the force by a crapload. and we played the force without our 2 all star corners. so once again if we dont then who go t the best d? The Force did not get blasted by the Noles. In their 2 year existence, the Force have NEVER been blown out. Especially not like the Ravens did last season. With that being said, yes the Noles were a better team than the Force last season.

NOLES PLAYED FORCE 2 TIMES LAST YEAR. 1ST GAME NOLES 38- FORCE 16
2ND GAME NOLES 48- FORCE 29 ( BLOWOUT)
FORCE VS RAVENS 48-28
AND YOU SAY THE FORCE DIDNT GET BLOWN OUT?
FOCE ALSO LOST TO CLEVELAND 27-7, SAME POINT MARGIN LOST AS THEY BEAT THE RAVENS BY, SO IF THEY BLEW OUT RAVENS, THEN LIONS BLEW OUT FORCE RIGHT?
AND THEN YOU BEAT THE TWOLVES BY 3 POINTS ,WHEN RAVENS BLEW THEM OUT 40-7.

UPON FURTHER REVIEW BOTH LOSES TO NOLES WERE BLOWOUTS, AND THE LOSS TO THE LIONS WAS THE 2ND WEEK OF THE SEASON, SO DONT COME WITH THE TEAM FELL APART CRAP.
THE NUMBERS DONT LIE SON. IM TIRED OF HEARING ABOUT RAVENS GETTING BLOWOUT, YET YOU GOT BEAT 3 TIMES LAST YEAR BUT THE SAME MARGIN OR MORE.

Man if you dont spare me with that match-up bull, you play the game and you either win or you lose. Did the force beat us? Yes. Were the force a better team than the ravens?F&@k NO. you keep holding on to your one memorable win in 07, just concentrate on gettin out of the first round of the playoffs in your new league, and we will focus on stayin on top. London please set it up, do you guys still play on fields 20 yards wider than here in the states?
