Dan Richard takes the reigns
Former Team Captain/Owner Daimond Dixon has stepped away from the Grand Rapids Thunder, with new Owner Dan Richard now calling the shots.
Richard takes over a Thunder program which got off to a fast start in its first season of play in 2004. The program has since seen an influx of players and coaches who have contributed to the success of the four year run.
Dan Richard is in the process of filling the 2008 coaching staff as well as looking for potential leagues to play in for the upcoming season (the Thunder recently ended a four year run in the MLFA).
Players can contact Dan Richard at 616-299-3983 or Dan@PrintRockford.com .

Looks like the Michigan Division of the MLFA is dead on arrival for 2008.

Dan's a good guy, and I hope he does well, but isn't "owning" the Thunder sorta like "owning" a unicorn farm (neither really exist...?)
