Typical MCFL reposnse. "have all the other leagues change their date to match the MCFL...." God knows the only way is the MCFL way of doing things. You have what 2 elite teams left? wow you must be doing something right

when do the NAFL, GLFL start there season? fury 40 The NAFL starts in late June/early July; the GLFL starts league play mid-June, I believe. That puts both leagues in the middle of their schedule when the MCFL starts in late July/early August.

I from the says that a lot of teams are not coming to the M.C.F.L because they feel they will not have to win title over the Ravens, Seminoles, Lions or the Force. That being said, teams like the Wayne County Wolverines, Strength and Admirals feel they better chance to match up with the Lima Warriors and win their first championship in a weaker AA2 league. Some people are saying that the M.C.F.L only have 2 Elite teams, but have not seen anybody from another league beat the likes of the Hardin County Wolverines, Detroit Seminoles, West Michigan Force, Even the Southern Michigan Timberwolves and Detroit Ravens. Only team that lost, was Cleveland Lions to the Lima Warriors. So anybody else who want say there's only two elite teams in the M.C.F.L, they are dead wrong. If you want to prove them wrong then set the match up and win. Then you can do all the talking you want too.

So if these teams do play and the MCFL team loses, do the "weaker" teams get respect or is it a fluke? I dont really think it matters either way. Lima played some pretty weak competion last year, HOWEVER, they won all their games. This year will be tougher for them with the additions to the USFA. And a reason most of these teams "MOVED DOWN" is because of the start time of the MCFL, not the teams.

I went to coach for the T-Wolves after coaching in the the then OVFL (the good version) and I wll say this...the competition level week in and week out was better. I only have the OVFL to compare to. That being said we have played pre season games vs alot of other leagues and havent had much trouble after my first year with SMT. I still will not say our league is any better than the others, because on any given saturday...you know the rest.
Still think we should gather the toys next year...

We all need to do some form of MASS community thing. Its better to give anyways. ANd just think of all the people out there that could use our help.
I suggest something to do with kids, or speical education.

Just cause you dont play the seminoles or the ravens you arent any good.Get a life and get off the high horse. It always happens every year if you win you didnt play no one and if you get beat than its i told you they wasnt any good. Your gonna have your good teams in the league and your gonna have your bad teams. The thing is your out there having fun. A game could go either way at any time. So quit knocking who plays who and enjoy the game and quit all the smack talk that leads to fights on the field and play ball.

I suggest something to do with kids, or speical education. I must be an old softie (I even have a santa suit I used to wear), we cant do everything for all the kids, but we can make sure that christmas is a little better for some of the kids. After all, its a special day for them. A day made of dreams, wonderment, and joy. A day when you can forget your troubles and just be happy that Santa Clause did remember you. It is a day that as a kid you have that warm feeling of happiness that dosent come very often. Its in the off season for all of us and would be a relatively easy thing to pull off. heck, if we can as coaches organize all our guys to show up to practice we can organize this. No Problem! You know what I think were gonna do this! I just talked myself into it. Clearly too late for this year but you watch next year, semi pro ball in the D area is gonna be proud! Where's Blev, and Bat, and kaydo. Let's get to work for next year!

People don't want to hear the truth. they like live the pipe dreams. look at the Michigan Gators. They win the G.L.F.L. and all the sudden, their the best ever. Granted, they've improve from the start of the season, but from them to say they are the best team in Michigan, I laugh at the thought. Have they been tested, heck to the NAH! who in the heck have played, (The Wayne County Wolverines). Shoot like at how they destroyed by West Michigan Force. And for them (Wimpy WCW) to want to pump their chest and ,'but we were the M.L.F.A Divisional Champs, Like how Lima did for so long in the M.L.F.A. But Lima could never win the big one. Divisional Champs means squat, win the Big one and quick talking all that mess and get your program in order and play the best. The U.S.F.A.; G.L.F.L.; M.O.F.L.; M.L.F.A are your testing ground for first year teams to measure where you stand before you hit the big leagues like N.A.F.L. and your M.C.F.L. Now if your program Budget can't afford the the heavy travel cost in going to the N.A.F.L., then should try the regional league like the M.C.F.L. Which I feel that's where you will best competition week in and week out. Now that's my opinion. the real football players would agree with me. I just get tired of people jumping over the leagues where the know they are superior the more then half the teams in that league and want to say we'd the best, we the know good darn well they need to go over the a league that will have to prepared every week from management all the way to the players, to a win.
Happy Holidays See you in 2008.

the last post stated that unless you play in the nafl or the mcfl your league is testing ground to win a championship you wouldn't otherwise win. give me a break, you guys get on here and act like it is such a big difference in free football. if teams were that much better then it would be guys getting paid to play on Sundays and there is not one player on any semi pro team that plays on Sunday. 1aa and aaa what is the difference in either, because you have your weaker teams in both . some teams just join a league to say they play aaa and get destroyed week in week out. they have to much pride to go down because you guys sit on here and beat your chest about the mcfl and nafl. granted their are some superior teams in both but their are some flat out terrible teams in others. the ravens , seminoles, and force and even put the hardin county team in their are good teams and the nafl has quite a few teams on that level. as i recall none of them went undefeated, and we all play for free last i checked. on the flip side you have your teams in those same leagues that win one or two games year in year out. the teams in 1aa that compete in both mcfl and nafl lima, jets, wcw, thunder, ads, akron, strength, even the gators teams all of which the mcfl went after. for some reason all these teams turned them down for whatever reason and joined a league together that will be competitive if not more than the mcfl or nafl. the usfa is becoming one of the great semi pro leagues in the country and this season will show just how good it is. no disrespect to the twolves or coach clark but in one of the posts it put them as an elite mcfl team, they haven't been even competitive for a top 3 spot in their league in bout 4-5 years. they couldn't beat any of the top 7 teams in the usfa, im out with that. oh yeah one more thing with the mcfl late start if you dont have your own field ie twolves you struggle to find a field in the d that will give you a field so late. just ask the ravens and seminoles jumping from field to field every game even sharing with other teams on occasion. no knock on noles or ravens that is just how the schools in the city give semi pro the cold shoulder.

Please leave us out of the negative stuff. No desire to participate in a pissing contest about which league is stronger/weaker. It's all minor league (translation unpaid) football.

You guys are so sad.Good teams are suppose to beat not so good teams bad,but if they beat a good team bad than the other team must not be that good is what your saying. You michigan teams will find out what this league is about. Be lucky you dont play our side untill the championship. I gaurntee you you go into Lima thinkin they arent any good. You will go home with your tail between your legs with a butt whoopin like they put on us. Good teams are suppose to win when expected and also win in close games.Thats what Lima did and they represented the league in a class act manor. Now im not sayin Lima will repeat because its always harder to repeat but for you teams that havent played them and are messege board talkers you will have a different opinion about them after you play them win or lose. I know I did.
