I'm convinced - There is a curse on the Detroit Lions organization.

They just made super unknown QB - Tavares Jackson look like Peyton Manning.

The running game is as effective as Richard Simmons on a weight bench.

This was all a MAGIC trick. The whole - "We've changed....new attitude" Just like David Copperfield it was an ILLUSION. I knew when Lions players were talking trash, walking around like Peacock's like they were Superbowl Contenders. What was that Mike Furrey - "WE BACK BABY.....YALL CAN KISS OUR A.Z.Z" Well, it's a hard to kiss it.........when u got half of the NFL's cleats KICKING IT. The Lions are a bad sequel of which the reel never stops.............every year same stuff.

I still just looked at their talent and honestly......it wasn't there. Those loses on the road were more REALITY then abberetion. Once again, this was ACME magic trick #53......and now the curtain has gone up........the COYOTE is left to wonder his GENIUS.

The city of Detroit has got to have the worst luck in picking #1-3 drafts nomatter what sport.

Well, I've seen it since 67, you have a dysfunctional owner who hires dysfunctional people and now your two years into failed coaching Regime #11 and Now you have to fire the "Offensive coordinator" and install offensive scheme #45 and retrain the entire team. When this owner becomes the consistency of fertilizer something MAY change, but until then it the "darkness with Harkness: ALA Lions.

Funny you should mention curse, you may be more right than you think!

My brother isn't going to burn his Lions pennent with the chicken blood with the curse put on it by the voodoo priestess(true story) back in New Orleans in the mid 70's when we went down there for debauchery and drunkeness. He's got it somewhere and until Ford is staring up at grass roots the curse will continue until he's horizontal. The curse cost us I think(while under the influence of alcohol, hashish and other herbal inducers of expanded thought and a case of the crabs) about 30 or 40 bucks. The curse was this team will not win any championship while until the old man who owns this team sells or drifts off into the netherworld. I have told this story to a lot of people and they think I am joking, this story is dead true and they ain't won squat in the 30+ years since. He has to say some words written on the back and then burn it with a bag of herbs still tied to it and he ain't rapidly oxidizing it until the old man kicks off once and for all. Personally, the only curse I think is involved is the idiot who owns the team.

I'm a Bears fan and I really hope Batman wore that Lions coat because he likes the colors and not the team. I don't see them winning those formentioned 10 games.

I'm a Bears fan also and, after going 13-3 last year, I really thought they would win at least 10...but they're 1 shy of that already.

I agree with ff--there's nothing wrong with the Lions that the demise of Ford (followed by the firing of Millen) wouldn't cure.
