OK, just to set all of you on the right path. I have played with the diesels the last 2 years. There is toooooo much trash talk involved in this whole post. I really doubt that streeter is talking trash on here. I understand that there might be bad blood between him and the org. but I dont think he is the type to waste his time talking trash on some message board. He is a good guy despite what some think. I really liked playing for him but if I dont again then I will be able to handle it. He really is a great football mind. I think that there are far too many assumptions made on this board. I know that the coaches may have liked to have been paid but they knew going into each season that they may be. This entire post is made based on assumptions. We did pay an extra 25 prior to our trip to PITT. but, I can also understand that we did make 4 (i believe) bus trips last season. The problem is not that we had to ask for the extra 25, the problem is that the lazy a$$holes did not pay they team fees to begin with. I really hate the fact that people who dont pay are believed to be deserving to touch the field. There is no one who is above the team. I really think that has hindered our performance in the past. The diesels as a team are solid. As for the coaching change, we all know that a change in leadership needs to be given a chance to work. Rob was a good coach with a good vision, but I think that it is the players that held the team back. Far too often we underachieved against teams that we should have blown out. I do not care if people dont like what I have just said but that is the truth. There is too much animosity between Streeter, and Al, and some of the players for them to ever say the truth on here. I dont really blame any of them, I just think that they all had their own ideas of where the team should go, and none of them had the same ideas.
Think what you want from my posts, but Im just layin it out there. Most of the people who have posted here are the ones who seem to have something against Rob or the Diesels. I know that Al may not like what I have said, but I hate that people are trashing other people on here for no reason.

thats where your wrong travis, streeter is a drama queen but a so called defensive guru, trust when i say streeter is a masked man on this board and loves and feeds on the days of our lives soap opera on everyday semi pro. as a matter a fact hes probably got his glasses pushed up to his eyes with a mad scientist laugh now reading this board

what the heck is goin on? darn i leave for a year and this happen's? Almost better then a soap opera my wife watches. i don't know what happen and want to stay out of all conflict, because i like most involved. Most of this stuff has been going on for years and unfortunatley it has boiled and old friends have been devided. All should kiss and make up... Colin how many kids u got? If you said six holy crap get that willy wacker chopped off and or stop adopting can't handle to many of u out there. So Streeter u at t-wolves sweet, hit me u don't return calls. What up Ben and Chuck I would know what was goin on if u guys returned calls, so hit me the f u ck up. As most know me on the deisel i wish u luck in 08 and congrads in 07 BALLS OUT BABY EVERY PLAY...

I agree with Tim, because I do like all the people involved, and i hate to see that people who have worked together and have been friends for years use this as a way to talk trash about each other rather than settle the dispute like a man and both agree to disagree and move forward. Everyone seems so darn bitter about Streeter leaving, but in the end what do they have to be bitter about. They never had a losing year under him, he didnt leave the team in total shambles. So what if he wanted to do something else. I just think that everyone involved should look at it as a chance for a new beginning. Players leave all the time, most coaches at this level never last as long as Rob did. It is just time for everyone to take the situation as it is and stop whining like little girls and MOVE FORWARD. You all cannot really tell me that your lives are that boring to sit on here and talk junk about someone who you have worked so hard with toward a common goal. How dare you people come on here and tarnish the good name of Rob Streeter. This man is a defensive mastermind and an expert in human relations. How else could he have Farkas, a man he constantly ran down and humiliated, on here praising him? Everyone knows that Rob Streeter did everything for this team and everyone else did nothing. You all know this. If anyone were to cut him I think we all know that it is a fact that he actually bleeds Diesel gasoline. You cannot argue with that because its science. One time we ran out of gas on the bus and not a lot of people know this, but Rob actually cut his finger and filled the gas tank. That led to the infamous incident in which Streeter passed out on the sidelines. All his late night phone calls dividing the team were done out of the sheer genius of knowing if everyone hated each other there would be more intensity. Be for you run down a genius and a God in semipro football walk a mile in his shoes without fainting. Look at the world through his goofy glasses and pay respect to the man that changed how we all look at football. And for the last time the f*cking zoo is closed Ray.

Wow. Its amazing a team that wins 10 games falls into this type of turmoil. Is doesn't surprise me when you have an owner that promises the world and doesn't deliver. Did ya all get those new away uniforms yet? I was promised those when I played in 05 and 06. Maybe when all the past team fees get paid ya will get them.

Yeah they got the jerseies.... at the end of the season. They got to wear them for one re. season game and a playoff game I think. I guess better late then never.

Since you have said what you have said, now it's my turn.
There is a lot of spite being displayed on here. I could probably add to this mess but I will try to be honest. First, Deb and Al, I have not made ONE SINGLE POST on this thread or any others regarding you or your team. I really don't care if you beleive it but it is true. The only reason I was even aware of this crap was that I bumped into some guys during the holidays. The crap about computers, payment, or all the other responses was not me. I have been busy with my concerns. Al knows I never asked him for money of any kind unless it was for something the team needed. Period. Al, you know that is true.
I have received many e-mails and calls from players (past and present) and some members/coaches of even other teams in our conference asking about what is going on or what has taken place. If you want the truth, here it is:
I just feel that where I wanted the team to be/ where I wanted it to go was simply not going to be achieved under the current ownership. All of you say this or that about promises or whatever. NOBODY was part to more vacant promises than myself and the staff. There is so much stuff that has gone on over the last 3 years:
*** The team was simply not promoted in any phase except from word of mouth among the players and staff to the public. Avenues to make a better experience for all were not explored, looked down upon, or ignored, worse yet, wasted away due to laziness. You wanted more CONTROL of the football operations and now you have it. ALL of it. Now it is on your shoulders. Good luck with it. After all the years of BEGGING you to drop the player fees, now you are going to do it??? Ha Ha!!! That is truly comical.
The smart guy with the "bleeding diesels blue" comment was not far from the truth in his sarcasm. I worked very hard for Al. Almost all year long. For many years. However, it was not just for him, it was for the team. The guys in the basement meth labs stiring the pot posting over and over again, even deep down they know it. We had a few new people that got involved with the team that created some internal drama. Causing rifts in what the staff and what I thought were the right thing to do. I don't have to name names. When 60 plus guys are on the roster, you can't possibly be everthing to everyone. Wthin football everyone thinks they know what is best. Some things we had a better handle on than others. Some could have been better. Some simply were not working. That is what it is.
Everyone has there own ideas of what success means to them or what the team should be for them. Selfish or self serving. My critics have their opinions but I just wanted to win. And we did achieve that. There are many guys who played hard for us over the years, many who played because they simply loved football. They did not suit up for me or make TD catches for me, etc. They made them for the team and simply for the sake of their personal play. The team will go on without me. I just hope that the vision of "deception, and not being up-front" as my former owner commented, will leave with the former staff. That is my sarcasm there. That "deceptive" comment is utterly laughable as again, I will not go down that road with personal attacks. I could name call and say this or that. No point any longer.
I am moving on. I hope you all do the same. If you need to speak to me, you know where I am. I just want to win and hope to continue doing it in another venue. I know I will give my best effort. I wish the players that remain good luck and hope you personally have good seasons.

Coach Al, Since you are the one who wants to watch the films, make sure you Film the games first. You need to have films to watch films. This is something that was probably Rob's fault as well. Something that your new "deception-free" staff will handle I'm sure. ;D

1. Only 3 games were not filmed last year. It was not my decision to not watch them. That is why we are stating now that we will be watching film every Tuesday after a lite practice. We tried to put them on line for all to see. Something new. The only team to do that. It didnt work as perfect as we wanted, and we will try to make it easier this year.
2. The person that took the photo was never to be found, along with the deposit. No one was charged for it, so get over it.
Anything else?
