This is typical for the Lions, why fire Martz. I thought when things go wrong you start at the top. Sure Martz is hit or miss on any given sunday, but why not start with the genius who drafts lineman for the lions. When (if ever) was the last time the Lions had a dominant offensive line. They've had great D-lineman both indivdually and in groups, but other than Kevin Glover, Lomas Brown and maybe two to three others at various times who the heck have they had to block for the talent they keep getting in the backfield. Everyone questions Kevin Jones' durability, but how can he stay healthy when he has to fight his way out of the backfield. Here's the solution; the Lion's will continue to wallow in mediocrity until the Fords sell. But the Fords won't sell as long as people keep packing the house. So Detroiters, Stay Home!!!!!!! Every owner of every other Detroit team seems to really care about the fans as evidenced by their willingness to make winning the standard and not the exception. I'm thankful that I've never been a Lion fan. That doesn't mean that I don't want them to do well it just means I like really enjoy good football and too often the Lions resemble the exacty opposite.

So they fire martz, then after next years debacle they fire marinelli, and then we start the whole thing all over again. There is no hope or future for this team until the SOB who owns it is planted once and for all. The owner, millen, the front office, the scouts, the coach and the whole orgainzation needs to get an enema. new uniforms, new owner, but its not going to happen so the discussion is errelevent
