this isnt exactly a entrance, but we the ravens got tired of all the teams copying gridiron gang and sending out there whole team to coin toss. so we sent out our usual 4 captains and the rest of us lined up on the sideline and turned our backs to the field until the toss was over with. hardin county wolverines felt very disrespected. Now I like that! thats different and for some reason if you dare to be different or standout in this world its wrong, and you are judge. How about how OSU comes and and sweeps the field locked in arm to arm thats different.

Two years ago in the MCFL championship game the Seminoles entered the field through a fog machine and the war-chant being played over the loud speaker.
We went and lost to the Force and thats the las time we used a fog machine! LOL

I think we're talking about semi pro football, but back in 1990 or 1991 when Iowa was going to the Rose Bowl, they came out on us (Minnesota) all holding hands. I thought that was the coldest entrance of all time, but then again I think Penn State has the sweetest Uni( I'm not flashy), so what do I know. We sent them on to the Rose Bowl with a loss, Sorry Coach Ted S. Lol! I hope all is well Coach. That was called "The Swarm" big dog! And no need for apologies, I was not at Iowa until 1992....still, any loss to Minnesota hurts a Hawkeye no matter when it happened!!! I could only imagine the horror ole Floyd had to endure spending the year up in Minneapolis! Lol Coach. Man "The Swarm" was sweet as heck. Other people are doing it now, but I think Iowa was the first. The first that I have seen. I was in Awe when I saw that. Togetherness, TEAM.

WHEN I WAS IN SCHOOL. THE UNIVERSITY OF MEMPHIS HAD THE BEST ENTRANCE. THEY HAD THEIR DACNE TEAM AND CHEER SQUAD ALING WITH THE BAND IN A PARADE AROUND THE FIELD. BUT THE SWEET PART ABOUT IT, WAS THEY HAD A "TIGER" IN THE CAGE IN THE FORNT WALING AROUND MAD A22 F**K!!!! AND THEY HAD FIREWORKS GOING OFF ON THE TOP OF THE LIBERTY BOWL AS THEY RAN ON THE FIELD!!! AND ANOTHER SWEET ONE WAS WHEN I WAS PLAYING INDOORBLL AND WE WENT TO BLACK HILLS SOUTH DAKOTA AND PLAYED THE "BLACK HILL MACHINE" THEY HAD ABOUT 30 - 40 GUYS RIDE ON THE FIELD ON HARLEY'S WITH THE LIGHTS TO THE ARENA OFF. THEY HAD SOME BAD A22 CHICKS ON THE BACK WITH THEM. THEY FORMED TWO LINES AND EVERY TIME THEY INTRODUCED A PLAYER, THEY WOULD ROAR THEIR ENGINES!!! THE RUMBLE AND THE SOUND MADE THAT S.H.I.T HYPE.

so with all the responses how many teams will try to implement any of the ideas, except the drastic ones like fireworks and timberlake singing? i think it is a good idea and would probably generate more publicity as far as fan base goes. hey i am a young dude, just looking at the bigger picture of semi pro. anybody been to a racine raiders game?

You know what Mr.Excitement I don't know about adding some of the entrances that we've read, because we may not have the fan base YET, but maybe later on. I will tell you this though, thanks for the post you brought back great old memories. U of Colorado being led out by that big A55 buffalo, going into a sea of red in Nebraska, waiting under 100,000+ in the Big House waiting for Michigan to come out, having to get changed in a pink locker room in Iowa and having to regain your manhood before you play (ha ha), going to Wisconsin and get hit by anything that their fan could throw at you or just plain listening to the excitement of the fans when their teams enter the field. Such a beautiful thing!

This board aint nothin but hatters and thugs that want to think they can play football but as soon as the get stomped or hit they want to fight. Well you might not like lima and some from lima dont like you but deal with it cause you wont like Lima for sure if your crying butt is wanted or on probation and dont have papers to be out of the state. Our police department gets every away teams roster because of the stuff other teams start when they come to Lima especially with a chip on there shoulder. So now you can hate Lima even more. Its called semi pro not ghetto pro. Also nobody from Lima has to act like there from michigan to say anything on this board.why couldnt they like our entrance if there from michigan or are you just another lima hater.Keep hatin we love it and remember another thing we are still champions.

Thats the difference huh, people here try to impress out of staters and you cowards call the police on us. If that aint the biggest bunch of BS I've heard. You give the roster to the police so that they can check the names in the system. You say people from here are thugs, NO you're just a major COWARD. I've seen old elderly people that don't do that. I don't know if you are black or white, but you lock the doors when a black man walks past your car don't you

Coach Kopac (Racine Raiders) was a big fan of everything being cohesive and coming together. He considered the Raiders entrance to be a dance. Heck, if a player wasn't lined up properly, they were sometimes pulled from the formation and were made to go out separately.
We have fireworks that a local cement company sponsors over the east bleachers outside Historic Horlick Field. He lights them so the first ones go off right as the singer says "bombs bursting in air." They continue well past the end of the National Anthem.
In addition to that, we've had a fog machine for the team to enter through and we've done introductions with a few dozen Harleys on the field revving their engines after each of our players was announced.
The whole team not being announced always lines up from the ten to the forty yards lines forming a tunnel, complete with cheerleaders. The starters then come out to the 45 and wait for everyone else to be called. We then form the circle with the entire team at that point.

i always liked how miami came out thru the fog can't remember who was the first team to do it but i can remember watching them back in the day and they were always hype.
michigan running out and jumping up to hit the M club banner is a classic favorite of mine too. my high school had a similar entrance.
