with all the teams that have locker rooms and mini tunnels, how come nobody really has a exciting entrance to the field? is it not worth it here or nobody just thought about it. everybody just kind of dresses on the sideline or just walks out individually. somebody give me some insight.

Well I know in college we run out of the wolf's mouth. It is pretty hype and more teams should do it. I don't run i jog in the back about 20 yards behind everyone because I'm arrogant and need my own entrance

I think we're talking about semi pro football, but back in 1990 or 1991 when Iowa was going to the Rose Bowl, they came out on us (Minnesota) all holding hands. I thought that was the coldest entrance of all time, but then again I think Penn State has the sweetest Uni( I'm not flashy), so what do I know. We sent them on to the Rose Bowl with a loss, Sorry Coach Ted S. Lol! I hope all is well Coach.

LMO!!!!!!
I think UM has a pretty sweet entrance with the fight song playin and the band on the field. When the other team comes out they close the M and block the entrance CLASSIC!!!!!

I have one more thats pretty cool. If anyone is familiar with Detroit Henry Ford High school (TROJANS) football field, we let the kids all gather in the woods and the announcer asked, where are the TROJANS, the music played and we brought them out of the woods, hyped up. It was pretty cool!

At all the Timberwolves games we have the St Marys Catholic Central High School band to a pre game then they line up from the door to the end zone goal post. There they hold a really big circle with the TWolf logo on it that the guys run through. Then they run thru a tunnel where fog is rolling out and when they come out of the tunnel fireworks go off and can be seen for at least 5 miles! The music is blaring and the cheerleaders are jumping up and down and then a big ole black wolf runs across the field with that nights opponents helmet in his jaws which he chews up and the crowd goes wild!!! Then we have a guest captain as the coinflipper, last years flippers were Llyod Carr,(I didnt like that one) Justin Timberlake (the girls liked him), Elton John , Manny Ramirez, and if you still believe all the bs I have just been feeden you guys guess what, I got you again!

Just a question: Does how you enter affect how you play?

And no need for apologies, I was not at Iowa until 1992....still, any loss to Minnesota hurts a Hawkeye no matter when it happened!!! I could only imagine the horror ole Floyd had to endure spending the year up in Minneapolis!

this isnt exactly a entrance, but we the ravens got tired of all the teams copying gridiron gang and sending out there whole team to coin toss. so we sent out our usual 4 captains and the rest of us lined up on the sideline and turned our backs to the field until the toss was over with. hardin county wolverines felt very disrespected.
