To all michigan teams i just want to say goodluck in the up and coming season. I have read some of the post on this board and would like to reply to some. First off why ohio teams get on this board is because you have 7 new michigan teams that joined our league so you try to find info on the teams you are going to play. Second Lima is just trying to put together a well respected program and trying to cut out all the bullcrap nonsence that some players bring to a team. You all know there are some players that want to play football and there are some who want to play dirty and fight. As a coach we try to get rid of the dirty play.If a player on our team gets 2 un sportsmanlike pen. we take that player out of the game.If it happens in the second half he sits the rest of that game and the first half of the next game. Over the years we have lost a good fan base cause they look at semi pro as just a league for wanna be out of shape football players that just like to fight.We are finally getting that fan base back. As a coach thats been around awhile i just want to see some good clean football and help each team try and raise money for there teams. If the bitchin and arguing on the boards at each other before games continues it just cause fights on the field that are stupid. So if you take anything from this post as a player or coach try to stop the biggest thing that kills semi-pro football and thats the fighting on the field.The fans just want to come and see good clean football and walk away and say that team that the warriors just played was a tough ,talented and clean team.Believe me we get feedback. We have some great michigan teams coming into the league.Its gonna make for some great games this year. I know some teams dont like us and some of our players dont like some of other teams thats life. Play the the game like its ment to be played.Thats hard hitting,respect,and clean and at the end you shake hands huddle up and thank god for letting you play the game you love.Also you have just made another friend.So I say again to all teams goodluck in the up and coming season and stay safe on the road games.This year will be fun.Thank you.
