I have never posted before but after over the last few months I thought I might act like the grown man that I am and shed some light on all the misguided information.
None of us expected the drama that happen the last month. What has been said on these messages is an infantile description of the Force players I knew. We had some great guys and a few guys that were about themselves and a few head cases.
On the Coaches. It is Semi Pro Football guys. Nobody is getting paid. Players and coaches have a right to move on and be involved with any team any year.
I agree that Frank is a stubborn man but our offense worked when everyone was on the same page. I liked Ted but I thought as a head coach it was in title only. Frank had all the power so he should have just made himself Head Coach. If it is Brian Mead posting all of this you need to move on Brian and put all this behind you. Frank gave you a second and now 3rd chance so take advantage of it. On Hoss, did not deal with him much but he had a great passion and always positive. That is rare is semi pro football. I also heard that was his radio name so maybe that explains Brian why you cannot find anything. If he and Ted moved on to the Seminoles then good luck to them.
I played special teams and Coach Hooker just was in over his head and never had the right personal in. Seemed like a good guy.
Brian what happen in Cleveland and the way you conducted yourself and getting on some of the guys who actually played college football and our last game with the Seminoles. You need to look in the mirror and get a better grasp of yourself and study some football in the off season along with some how to be a better person. I wish you well.
What has been written on these boards is not the Force I was involved with for almost 2 years.
On Ryan, he will end up being a very good semi pro quarterback. He has a good arm and can run and is a good guy. I will not play this year or maybe ever again. The last month left a sour taste not only for me but many. To all of you that are still living in 2007.
It is over and it really is time to move on. Focus on you and what you need to do to get better as a player and a coach or volunteer to make your team better. A few of you have to much time on your hands and need to focus on more important things. If this is all you have in your life then your life is a sink hole. Alot of guys that played college football on the many different teams probably had coaches in college that were better then most of the semi pro coaches so sometimes it is laughable on your insight and knowledge.
On the other hand their are good coaches at this level that like us do it for the love of the game and still have something to offer as we do.
Good luck to every player that cares about playing and his team-mates and the coaches that are in it for all the right reasons. It is 2008 fellas, 2007 in the rear view mirror. You cannot change the past but if you work hard and do what it takes to get better then do it.
My family and friends that came to the games would be embarrassed for me if they knew this is how some of the Force players and staff conducted their business by showing their infantile behavior and lack of intelligence by some of the most idiotic post that you would expect to read in those grocery store tabloids.
Think before you write and like my mother once told me. If I was on your shoulder looking at what you were doing would I be proud. I think their would be many disappointed mothers if they were on your shoulder watching you write some of this garbage.
Grow up guys, we are men not fools that are still teenagers.
Good luck to all and I hope all of you that work hard have a great 2008 season.
