i heard phil is going to be playing with the southwest michigan team. any truth to this? if not might phil go to battle creek since he is no longer the qb at force. we could use a guy like him in bc.

Heard he is done playing. Focusing on his coaching at Hope. Why would any one drive 3 hours for free ? just stupid. You people need to understand semi pro isnt anything.

Is it 3 hours. Hope and GR are less than an hour from Battle Creek. But doesn't the Blaze have Ryan?

ryan wanted to play with the force all along because he lives within walking distance of the fields. why travel if you dont have to. wm force is the same guy who earlier said phil was with the force but since they named ryan the starter phil is out and not gonna back anyone up. thats the only reason why he is focusing on coaching at hope because he was planning on playing with the force until this came about.

all i know is ive been told by a pretty reliable source that ryan is with the force. and i do know for a fact he said if he would start with the force it would be much easier for him to do that rather than travel to go to bc. regardless i think either team will be fine with either ryan or phil. there is benefit to both. ryan has a bigger upside but it may take some time to see that as he has little experience. phil has the leadership and experience right now and has a good arm still. lack of mobility hurts him at times but he makes due

I dont think Butler is done. He loves the game to much and will be somewhere this season. Blaze would be a good fit

phil lives up north, about an 2 hr drive to GR. He told me he was going to the sems free gas money and he was going to start

Why do you turds get on here and say shyte that isn't true.... Does anyone actually believe that this guy "I think" talked with Phil personally, and that Phil told him the sems were paying his gas to drive to Detroit to start? Seriously......... why do you guys feel the need to post untrue stuff..... if you really want to know what a player is going to do... Post your name, ask the guy a question and see if he replies. I don't understand why people out there insist on making this level of football worse, by posting untrue comments; and the worst thing about it is, its michigan minor league players doing it.... There aren't that many fans who know about this board!

This is rediculous. Phil is one of my best friends and we have actually talked about this. We have both said that we are playing with the Force or not playing at all.

why dont u two come to battle creek. i highly doubt phil is willing to be a backup for the force. so with that being said come to bc. its obvious you both want to play

You can take any WR and turn them into a QB and they would be as good as ryan.
