The MCFL held their first league meeting of the 2008 football season today in Ft. Wayne, IN. All current teams were present and accounted for. The agenda items focused around wrapping up the 2007 season and discussing the items surrounding new teams and league expansion.
The league members voted to allow the new team acceptance process to remain open until the February 24th league meeting. The main reason for this decision was to give them all the ample time needed to evaluate all of their league options. Also, this process last year did not conclude for the MCFL until the February 2007 league meeting. We are on schedule to complete this process as planned this year.
Any team interested in presenting to the MCFL during the February 24th meeting in Ft. Wayne, IN should get in contact with either myself (my contact information is below in the signature) or Don Hillerich of the Louisville Bulls at d.hillerich@insightbb.com or (502) 939-4949. Thank you.

All current teams were present and accounted for. Does this include the West Michigan Force? And does this mean the Force will be staying in the MCFL instead of moving to the USFA, as has been rumored/reported?
