For all the Lil guys on here making excuses! The ravens have a guy by the name of reggie eubanks, ask him and all the other lil raven guys how to block on the ravens team, they go for the kill! never at the legs of knees etc. Hold on dude I know you probably one of those "Vic haters" But check this out Luck(MVP) ran for like a G this season Zeke for like 5 or 6 hundred Dre for like 3 hundred and on most of there long runs ask where the corners and safeties were! Oh yea I blocked them Clancy can contest I've killed a # of LB's and chasing DE's for him this season so don't think I don't block and if you want film the highlights will be on myspace soon . I'm just saying when you run into a real LB or DE head up he's not going to let a WR block him (correctly!) but hey you know everything dude I'm a great blocker Phil, and Reg is also, But ask Woods, Face, Bell and Chu or any LB or De if he scared or worried about any of us trying to correctly (FIT) block them I doubt it. Now crack backs doesn't count cause anyone can catch a cat not looking.

Vic what up baby boy? It's different when a WR has to block someone who out weighs him by 50 plus pounds. Lineman cutting lineman is what I really don't like.

I beg to differ I will put somebody 50+ on me on they a.s.s.!!! and I seen a lil dude named Jones-Drew drop a D Lineman in the league like he was playing with his son in the backyard. A lil balls and technique go along way!

What is really messed up though about cutting someone is that last year I witnessed at least three times Olineman cutting db's and safetys. That is messed up. There should be penalties on stuff like that.

Its a dirty game men, so what I do if I get cut is............ payback! I might not get you the next play but I'm going to get you before the game is over, sometimes the person that cut me doesn't even know that I was the one when your running back fumbles the ball and its a pile of men fighting for a loose ball then suddenly you feel a sharp pain something attacking your inner thigh, yea thats me pinching the sh--it out of you. So when you get in the shower after the game and you have that broken skin it probably was me that did that to u. Its nothing guys have fun with the game we love to play, I do.

Cut blocking is art!!! The good ones do it well and the great ones do it great!!! Its a part of the game and when done correctly it makes a defender think twice about running up to a player like a bat out of h@ll. I understand what your talking about Optimus Prime, about being a athlete, but not all BIG GUYS are athletes. I feel you shoud do whatever it takes for you to block the guy. From cut blocking, to bear crawling, to double teams, to combo's, to even holding (as long as you get away with it ;D).

CUT BLOCKING IS SOME BULLSH%T. It shows a lack of confidence in the ability of moving your feet and being an athlete. Please leave your ego at the door.... Cowardly? Are you serious? How about......You must be one of the ones pulling yourself off the ground because " It shows YOU have lack of confidence in the ability of moving your feet and being an athlete." Like EA sports, ITS IN THE GAME...

I was that guy that hit people in the mouth, snapped their neck back and destroyed motherfu@kers. Cut blocking is taught by every college team in the country. I played my college ball at a D2 school that ran the rock. We ran the wishbone and and various other option attacks. I can guarantee you that if you didn't cut your man in the open field and bring him to the ground, they would bring someone in who could. We ran for over 4oo yards a game, so cut blocks were just part of it. It sucks to get caught with, but is also easy to defend. You just have to play with your hands up and ready!

It's like a UCF only trying to knock guys out vs. getting in and choking someone out.. IF its part of the rules its fair game and STFU and play... Stop worrying about how the job got done but that it got done.. Just because YOU don't like it against you or you don't know how to execute it properly doesn't mean its cowardly. I will call anyone out who makes a dumm.a.s.s. statement like that. Don't let your mouth write a check that you A.s.s. can't cash.. Your taking this way too personally probably because it struck a nerve on your inadequacies.. I can only wonder how many times you guys actually throw the ball and if your qb throws to your side because cut blocking is needed on certain plays to create windows and opportunities for everyone. You can be selfish and play your "manly blocking techniques" but I will take a lesser many player who can execute ALL the blocks and get the job done, regardless of the means. Please understand that I am not an advocate of any illegal blocking, but if RB gets around the corner and the wr fails to get the corner down because he wanted to stalk block him all day and the corner made the tackle.... THEN HE DID NOT GET THE JOB DONE!!...

I'm a former QB and i'll tell you this if you need to throw a quick slant to you WR and you have a 6' 2" or better D lineman there especially if he's smart enough to put his hands up or jump you'll be getting that ball slapped right back at u. Chopping also slows down hard rushers if u chop him a couple of times that slows down his rushes. That will have him thinking about chop blocks the rest of the game.

I'm not knocking the guys that play by no means. I coach semi pro football to have fun with the fellas and thats it. I coach high school football to pass what I was truly blessed with on to the young fellas. When it comes to this game I'm pretty good at it. You can go back to my post I said cut blocking is needed on some plays. Trust me I can cash any check that you can hand me! I'll take the blasting today. If it make the board Interesting

I'm going to end my part with my dumbazz opinion, if the play doesn't call for you to cut block someone, again I feel that otherwise it's cowardly and I DON'T GIVE A FU*K WHO DON'T LIKE IT! I'm done with it!
