Not sure how far you're willing to travel, but the Hardin County Wolverines (45 minutes south of Louisville on I-65) of the MCFL might be interested in hosting. The Wolverines already have one game in Detroit this season (against a very talented Black Ravens squad) and with a return to Detroit for the playoffs a strong possibility, going up there for another preseason game doesn't seem feasible. The Wolverines feature primo newspaper coverage, computerized stats and many home games are televised lived (meaning about an hour after the game's over, they could get you a tape - or even DVD - of the game to take back home). The Wolverines are also working with national sports bar chain Beef O'Brady's about hosting postgame parties for both teams. www.hardincountywolverines.com

No USFA team is to play the Vipers Hope this is another meaningless "ghost" responder that dosent know what he's talking about. Otherwise what business does the league have telling its member teams who they can play in "preseason".

Not only that, coach, but what possible cause could the USFA have for trying to prohibit play with the Vipers, anyway? So far as I know there is no hard feelings between the Vipers and the USFA league management.
I think this is just someone trying to stir up trouble.

NO TEAM IS ALLOWED TO PLAY THE VIPERS DUE TO THE RENEGADES PULLING OUT THE LEAGUE LAST YEAR. FROM WHAT I KNOW THE RENEGADES WAS RAN BY SEARCY BUT OWNED BY LLOYD. NOW THAT SEARCY HAS HIS OWN TEAM AND DID NOT COME TO THE USFA THEY TOLD ALL THE TEAMS IN THE LEAGUE NOT TO PLAY THE VIPERS.

I didn't see anything on the USFA board that states this ban. Maybe it is on there somewhere but I can't find it . Other than that I would assume if it was legit it would have been put out there by a senior member of the league under a registered name.

when our team join the USFA and I told them I wanted to play the Vipers I was told we can not play them due to Searcy being the owner. Now if thats not the case then I hope Daniel or Goodnight put it out there so everyone to see.

As far as we the Vipers know we are not allowed to play any USFA teams. This is what Searcy told us.

Looks like we won't see Vipers vs Soldiers this year. What a shame, that could have been a great rivalry. So this must make it true that Searcy is the MOST hated person in semi pro football, anytime a whole league isn't allowed to play against you. Best of luck in 2008 Searcy and the Vipers.
