It's because the President of the usfa thought Searcy was the owner of the gades when they left that league.

Well, it's true; the USFA commissioner has confirmed it. No USFA team is permitted to play the Vipers in pre-season.
I guess they have their reasons, but it's a shame, anyway.

Well if that don't beat all! I never thought I'd see a league tell its member teams who or who they could not play in the "non league" schedule. THAT takes some nads. Guess we know where this league is headed with that kind of posture. |

This isn't a bad decision at all. Everyone should be accountable for unprofessional and/or disruptive behavior if there is any possibility of this level of play being kept to a respectable standard.

In ten years i have never seen a league tell you who you can play in pre season games. Sounds like the service to me. Its a good thing they run everybody's team so they can tell them what they can do.

It's not about "running" the teams  It is about protecting the teams from ones that have left the league hanging. If they do it to a league, who is to say that they will not do it to a team. Who wants to travel to a scrimmage to find out they decided to scrimmage someone else that day, or whatever..... |

You must wonder where all the money goes towards for the USFA league also. just trophies cause there was no all star game last year. It must go towards that motorcycle the commish posted on there board...LOL.. Fo sho they keep telling teams what they can do he will have a moped instead of a motorcycle. |

in 04 we ( the titans) had a scrimage against the renegades, and we had to keep it a secret, because the gades were banned by the ovfl.

Another thing your not the darn Commish.How the H,E,L,L do you know what he's going to decide to do when it comes to the USFA.If your sad because you didnt make the ALL-Star team don't hate the league hate your self.You shouldnt of sucked so bad during the reg season.Go hit the weights and try harder next season pal.

Most people thought I was the owner of the Renegades but I was just a board member that was putting up most of the money. Last season the Renegades board (Lloyd Clark) made the decision to leave the USFA for the GLFL. The USFA had given us a schedule but the league was not finalize so the board (Lloyd Clark) wanted to go to the GLFL. I feel like I got a bold deal by being banned from playing any USFA team. Now I was offered a spot in the USFA the night before the Cobras left if I wanted it but I have already committed to play in the GLFL for the 2008 season. I'm also on the board as well as some of the other teams that decided to go to other leagues. I worked over the off season to find teams in Michigan as well as Cleveland & Dayton area so they would not have to travel that far. When I was with the Renegades we only missed one game due to 9/11 weekend so as for us not making a scrimmage or game you would not have to worrier about that. We have played teams that have called as late as a Friday night and far as London Ontario. and WE showed up. Well if they want to ban us from playing any of his teams its cool we still will play some football there is plenty of teams out there. We just wanted to beat up on some USFL teams like the Gators, Cobras or any other takers LIMA s.h.i.t it could be their all-star team since they didn't get to play to show people that any team could win on any given day just ask the LUCKY GATORS.......... We'll meet again just like last time you'll lose, then you won't have Nugget to cry to.
