By my notes, there are six for-sure new Michigan teams and three maybes.
For-sure: Lapeer County Lions Michigan Vipers Kalamazoo Outlaws Lakeshore Cougars Battle Creek Blaze Lansing Steeldogs
Maybes: Oakland County Raiders Downriver Eagles Bay Area Bombers
As for who will be the best, I confess myself completely in the dark. I know nothing about any of them except their names.

I have pretty definitive word that the Oakland County team is done.

I'd be a bit tentative to toss the Steeldogs in the "officially prepared to take the field" mix...even the USFA hasn't listed their contact info usfa.teamopolis.com/

I don't know that I'd place a lot of significance on that fact--they also don't have contact info for the Macomb County Strength or the Wayne County Wolverines.

I aint heard anything from lansing so i dont think anything is going on out there. I tried to get in contact with them too. Same with macomb country strength. I moved in between the two and thought about going somewhere close but none of those teams are operating. I think some other teams are shady too in the usfa i liked that league but its like they are letting everyone in.

this league is shady if you got league fee you will get in the usfa that all that league is about is the money last year with all the new teams and close to $16,000 in team fee we had to get our own ins. no all star game and never said where the money went.whats up with the league banning the vipers for what the renegades did by pulling out. if my man searcy would have joined the league he would have been able to play usfa teams

Yeah!!! not to mention the fact that the USFA, allowed the Cleveland Cobras to enter the league after the way they Dissed, and Abandoned the GLFL. This was done after the schedual was made. Also there owner /Coach were on the GLFL board. So how can you ban the Vipers for something the renegades did 2 years ago (unrightous act), but welcome the Cleveland Cobras who dumped an established league this year. -VERY SHADY-. Banning an entire league from playing a team in the off season is never good. I really cant see the USFA lasting much longer espessially letting just anyone in.

This sounds like sour grapes from a GLFL member. The two situations are entirely dissimilar. To make any form of connection or to suggest that you "can't see the USFA lasting" amounts to unfounded propoganda. What those two situations are totally similar. Prove that they are not. Both teams saw better opportunity somewhere esle and took it. The vipers are being punished but the cobras are not.
Calling me a GLFL member who is bitter sounds like as you put it " unfounded propoganda" I have no affiliation to any league.

We hope that the league will unban the Vipers so we can beat them just like we did in the championship game. We are the GLFL champions and the 2007 Co-Mid States champions so get at us, we will so the USFA who the real champions are.

What's apparent is the visceral jealousy of someone on the outside of an up and coming semi-pro league, who as a result of his own selfishness would hope for it's demise rather than to not be included. If the Viper's wish to compete with USFA members there is an option for them as the USFA commissioner has extended an invitation, which is probably more than he should have offered. The Gators r bums, the Renegades scored a total of 76 points against you, while only giving up a total of 14 points and that was in a total of 4 games. And as for Co-Champions, how can that be when you last in the 1rst round to the Renegades. I don't think that you will last long in the USFA when you have to travel all over Ohio to play. You guys r a lot of hot air. You hit like girls and no one on your team can make a open field tackle to save their life. So this year work on your tackling skills and your hitting drills or you can just look at game film from last year and see how the Renegades were drilling you guys in those 4 games and take some pointers.
