Although I never met him in person, I had talked to Mr. Young via this and the USFA forum many times. From the outpouring of support from you all and our conversations I know he was an upstanding guy. My prayers go out to his family and his teammates throughout his career in semi-pro. He will be missed.

Football is a hard sport to play, let face it if it was easy everyone would do it. B. Young made it look easy. Knowledge of the game, classy sportsman and a great team mate. I will feel this lost for a while and my brother in arms will never be forgotten. Everyone out there do this in memory of B. Young, play each game like its your last because tomorrow is not promised to any of us. Thats how Brian did it, thats how I'm gonna do it, and thats how you all should play it. For B.Young, comeback and curl forever.

I see that this board is practically dead, but I was hoping someone might have some info on if there was ever an arrest made. I played with Brian on the Macomb Strength for 3 years and he was killed a couple years after I left Michigan so I never really got any updates.
I'll check this board from time to time.
