Back from the dead...at least for a minute.

Hello, Michigan. Been gone from the semi-pro scene for a number of years, and just thought I'd check in to see what's what around the state these days...

I've been doing a little Googling and see that there are a number of team names I don't know and can't seem to find some of the ones that I thought were eternal.

Whatever happened to:
Michigan Gators?
Detroit Diesels?
Michigan Vikings?
Punishers?
Are they still playing, or have they folded?

I see the Black Ravens, Seminoles, Timberwolves, and WM Force are still going strong.

What leagues are Michigan teams playing in these days? I've found the Crossroads League, and the Great Lakes League, and I guess there are still some playing in the Great Midwest League (that seems to have shrunk from it's glory days a few years back...) Are there any others?

I was sad to read that Traverse City seems to have folded. They seemed like they had a strong organization, but I guess things happen.

If there's anyone left on the boards who remember me, give a shout out.

Hi, this board is for the most part dead, the GLFL has a facebook page and somebody said there is a FB page for the Semi pro news but haven't found yet. If there is a FB page maybe somebody can post a link. good to hear from you again. Mike DTRRMAN Delaney
