Im not trying to start nothing on this board but I think that the MCFL is headed down hill fast ONE of the DETROIT teams are lookin to leave the MCFL. They have showed interest in another league. This is indeed a fact and it came from a league member that handles the application process.
It goes to show you that if the MCFL wants to stay like a dinosour and not change they will lose the great teams that they once had.

Ah, yet another anonymous poster telling us what some other anonymous poster from the MCFL boarads allegedly heard second-hand from "a reliable source"...  Do you know the difference between a fairy tale and a sea story? The fairy tale begins with "Once upon a time..." The sea story begins with "Now, this is the no-crap truth..." Other than that, they're identical. |

this just in!!! the Detroit Lions are looking to join the usfa!!! its a fact! it shows you that the nfl is a dinosaur and that they want to step up their level of competition!! Go us!!!

This is a FAKE and BOGUS post and whoever wrote it needs to do a little research first before they go posting on a message board. The ONLY two Detroit owners in the MCFL is Mr. Blevins - Detroit Ravens and myself.....Bats - Detroit Seminoles. BOTH - he and I - were at the MCFL meeting yesterday....both he and I contributed to the meeting and not ONE word of disgruntlement to the MCFL and exploration of another league. To even put more of a stamp and disprove this rumor. Ted S - the acting VP & Head of Football Operations for the Detroit Seminoles is now the new MCFL president and Ron Blevins (Detroit Ravens President) is the VP of the MCFL - the two highest offices of the league. False propaganda is all I have to say. Do your research gentlemen before you sound ignorant about factual information. |

thats fine none of the detroit teams are leaving, ted and ron have power, thats cool but what new teams joined or did no one join?

This is a concerted gag order by MCFL member teams until expansion process is finalized and complete. The MCFL expansion process has been extended due to some major changes in league setup and modifications.
What we can say is, we are confident of expansion in the new alignment of MCFL and to become a new member team FAR EXCEEDS any league in attractive benefits.
- FREE dues for first year TEAM (The greatest benefit of ALL)
- New alignment of the league to improve traveling/power balance
- Competitive Balance Scheduling in Power Evaluation of 1st year team (meaning new team that is not considered a league champion from another league will NOT be playing BOTH - Ravens, Noles) - unless they READY.
Perhaps the greatest benefit of all is you'll play in the STRONGEST league in Midwest - PERIOD!!!. This whole stupid notion that the MCFL is suddenly DECLINING or DEAD is started by other league is a campaign slogan for recruiting..........
1) Detroit Ravens (2007 MCFL & USA National Champs)
2) Detroit Seminoles (Trust me on this one.......we'll be there)
3) Hardin County Wolverines ( Record in last 3 years is something like - 22-3 Match them against any league champion and see what happens.
4) West Michigan Force (Those USFA rumors might be absolutely STUNNED when they see how this turns out)
5) Louisville/SMT/King Comets - considered the middle power teams of the MCFL and I gurantee NO LEAGUE has 5, 6. 7 teams this solid.
If the MCFL is dead.......any league that thinks so can just start signing on the dotted line.
Preseason coming up....can't wait.

USFA?  ? This whole notion of the TOP teams suddenly going there is founded on exactly WHAT grounds? ? The person that said the USFA would go 3-2 against the MCFL. I'm really wondering what games are you referring as WINS? I'm gonna just be REAL because I'm tired of teams mouthing off with ZERO wins in ANY big games!!!!!! Any team Personally, I think the LIMA WARRIORS are a super example of a great organization from front office to players. I would never discredit any championship solely because another team won their version....or it's considered on a lower level. A championship is a championship. The Lima Warriors were the BEST AA team in arguably the country. Do I personally think last year they could have beaten the RAVENS, NOLES, or even HARDIN COUNTY WOLVERINES.....NO - but that's open for speculation and debate and purely my own opinion. I'm sure some Warriors think otherwise. That's why you play the games. I totally respect them for doing what's best for the LIMA WARRIORS organization...their players....their fans - NOBODY ELSE. How could anyone say otherwise? They have nothing to prove to anybody. Honestly - I don't hear any smack or trash talking coming from the Lima Warriors camp....it's more these OTHER TEAMS - the teams that haven't ONE JACK doing all the talking!!! At least WIN something first before you go T.O!!!!!!! |
