Thats way too much time. People do alot worse things than Dog fighting. Roy Jones jr. Has specials on HBO for his love for thingy fighting, Those country Cowboys tie up a bulls balls to enrage em and then they ride em, shoot hunting helpless animals is legal. I know two guys that use to fight crabs (It wasn't me, but I heard its funny though, ha ha), I don't know me personally, I can't stand Pitbulls, so I wish everyone would fight em to get rid of their dangerous a.s.s.e.s. Thats all that they are good for is fighting and killing and mauling people and other animals. Pitbull Terrier is the name and in my mind that means that they raise terror and havoc. Vick was doing us a favor! he should have been rewarded!

I think he got a lite sentence having over 10 counts against him you can get up to a year in jail for killing one animal.

H.e.l.l our government should be sent to prison for training our young men and women and sending them overseas to fight and get killed. And everybody is worrying about what Mike Vick is doing. If I had the chance I would double up in both hands and drown the he.l.l. out of every Pitbull that I could find.

Yep you're 100% right. I've had several family members mauled by those dam dogs and I have a brother that thankfully he wasn't killed while he was overseas, so I may be an idiot, but I'm real. K. Ballard, watch who you call names! You come and hold I under some Water.

Well I pay alot of attention to this case and BSL cases across the country. I'm a Pitbull Breeder and am working on building a new kennel. There are nothing wrong with these dogs, it's the people raising them and the people that know nothing about them even when they think they do. This is spot on for his punishment. He could be like the guy in Alabama who a week or two ago got sentenced for 102 years for fighting dogs. Yes it was 102 years for it. That is extreme, but I've talked with other breeders that thought it wasn't enough punishment.

OPT, you are an idiot... even if what you say is true about your family.... First off, it was your brothers choice to go and join whatever service he did... it was the government that trained him as best the could to prevent him from getting killed, which is true to this point, so be thinkful they did train him!!!
These dogs are only killers and terrors, so to speak, because we make them that way... these dogs are breed, raised and trained to fight... they weren't born that way... These dogs are one of the most people friendly dogs and they say are great around kids... That is, unless the wrong dumb monkey lover gets a hold of them and trains them to fight, like that jackazz Vick. These animals don't really have a choice in the matter, they are depending on us to care for them, and we betray them by forcing them to fight and kill or get killed... what would you do... if it was a kill or be killed situation? Everyone wants to survive, even these dogs, its only human and animal nature to survive... its a shame, I think the illegitimate child should get more time... I just hope you gets his while in prison... Prick is a horrible QB anyway, wouldn't have been long before he was looking for a new job!

clayton its not always about the owner,everybody know that pits have the tendency to snap, go to a pet shop or a legal place to buy a pup and they will tell you pitbulls sometimes go crazy out of nowhere ( well in a more professional way)

i've been around these dogs longer than most men here have been tugg'n on themselves and that is all a bunch of CRAP! How are you going to say "A legal place or a pet store to by a pit" That's like taking workout advice from the guy that works at GNC, come on give me a break. IT'S THE PEOPLE THAT OWN THEM PLAIN AND SIMPLE! My dogs are double registered UKC, ADBA and come from legal places with business licenses and tax numbers and everything. If you believe everything an ignorant person says then we would all be in deep trouble. A pit is a high drive dog that needs attention and alot of exercise. Follow these 2 simple rules and I bet you'll almost never have a problem with a pit. Media propaganda is rediculous when it comes to these animals!
